An evening's demonstration by artist Mark Warner, followed by a workshop the next day.

Mark is an experienced practicing artist and tutor who works from his studio in North Shropshire, UK.  Line and colour are at the heart of his work and this is informed through sketching and further ‘plein air’ work. Drawing is integral to the development of the piece and sometimes forming part of the work itself.

He continues to draw inspiration from the landscape and adores using colour while interpreting the light, contrast, weather and a love of the materials. He works in Oils and Acrylics on Canvas, board and paper.  Mark developed his passion for Landscapes and Seascapes while growing up on the West Wales coast. The rolling hills of Shropshire and North Wales also enable him to experiment with colour and line further.

Mark runs painting workshops as well as being a regular tutor on painting holidays in the UK and France. He will be running another fabulous week in a Loire Chateau in France again in September.  He is an enthusiastic painting demonstrator for Art Societies throughout the UK and has become increasingly popular with his informative delivery. Mark has numerous paintings in private collections around the world. He sells work through galleries in both England and Wales as well as through his website.
