About the event
Dawn Jordan is a plein air and studio artist working in oils, whose main inspiration is light in the landscape. Whilst painting outside she responds to the ever changing light by working energetically and instinctively. Dawn has exhibited, amongst other galleries, in the Royal Academy Summer Show, Royal West Academy Annual Exhibition, Chelsea Art Society Annual Exhibition and is represented by the Russell Gallery in London and Seaglass Gallery in Lympstone.
Dawn's demonstration will be of a local seascape in oils, concentrating on simplifying an image, values, composition, mixing greys, how to make colour pop amongst other tips and tricks for oil painting.
Members will remember that Dawn was our guest judge for last year's annual exhibition, so we look forward to welcoming her back to Exmouth.
Demonstration is open to current members, who may invite a non-member guest for £3, space allowing. Please confirm your attendance in advance by emailing bookings.exmouthartgroup@gmail.com
